Saulkrasti is the second most significant resort city in Latvia, where nature and climate resources propose relaxation opportunities for everyone. Pure sandy beaches, fresh pine forests, sea air, uncommon landscape and the most important – quietness, so precious in nowadays rapid rhythm of life.

The greatest advantage of Saulkrasti is the sea. Saulkrasti Dome developed a project on beaches improvement, realization of which started in 2005.

Advantages

The most significant advantage of Saulkrasti – is, obviously, the sea coastline which lies in only 150 meters of the complex. Sun Republic is one of a few projects in Latvia which is situated in such direct closeness to the sea. The complex, which windows and terraces reveal splendid sea views, is truly unique.

The landscape has a height difference in 9 meters. By days it is possible to sunbathe, inhaling pure aromas of pine woods and fresh sea breeze on the terraces of the Sun Republic and to enjoy astonishing sunsets by nights.

Exceptional architectural solutions.

There is no a hint to a typical construction – every building, every apartment, every room – is individual. The facades of buildings resemble sandy beaches, dappled with swallows’ nests. They are made of materials that resemble sandstone, hollowed out by the waves of the sea. Paths and tracks are paved with squared cobblestones with green moss in between, making for uncommonly regular geometric patterns. The territory, with its unique relief landscape, is rich in plant life. Here mighty oaks and young blossoming trees adjoin to centuries-old pine forests. Next to native grasses flower beds have been laid out.

21 century – is a century of technological progress. The Sun Republic is equipped with up-to-date engineering communications.

You never cease to be surprised at the unique location of the Sun Republic, as there are not many places with so much so close to the civilization. It has its ’own sea’, ‘own river’, ‘own mountains’. In the vicinity of the sea, the river’s mouth and sand dunes in the resort town’s centre make this place a genuine preserve, with pines and an outrageous relief landscape.
